Announcement of a Collection on Targeted Protein Degradation

“In this Collection, we invite submissions focused on the design, development, and application of TPD modalities. Submissions are not only limited to PROTACs, and we encourage the submission of manuscripts containing new TPD modalities. For example, we welcome new methods exploiting different degradation pathways, like lysosomes or autophagosomes, or aiming for new targets, such as membrane and extracellular proteins. This also includes studies focusing on the synthesis of ligands or linkers of the TPD molecule. Moreover, although TPD methods are predominantly employed for cancer treatment, we are also interested in their application as therapeutics for other diseases, as well as their employment as a chemical biology tool to interrogate cellular mechanisms.”
