The position is available for 36 months and is funded by the Medical Research Council. This is part of a multi-disciplinary collaboration with Dr Florian Siebzehnrubl and Professor Paola Borri, both based at Cardiff University, to explore the molecular basis of glioblastoma stemness. As part of this exciting collaboration, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will decipher the contribution of new ubiquitin-dependent mechanisms to glioblastoma stemness. The ideal candidate will have experience in studying post-translational modifications using cell and molecular biology techniques including Omics, mammalian cell culture including working with patient-derived stem cells, viral transduction, CRISPR-Cas9, chromatin immunoprecipitation and high-content microscopy.
